Hope everyone had a great Labor Day and special thanks to those Committee Members and Candidates who participated in the Marmet Labor Day Parade!
As previously communicated by email and social media, the KCDEC will hold a regular meeting on September 10, 2024, 6:00pm at the Kanawha County Public Library, 3rd Floor, Greater Kanawha Valley Room A/B.
If you can’t attend the meeting, send a proxy
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the officers, the August Meeting of the KCDEC has been cancelled. Instead of a regular, monthly meeting, please be sure to meet with your standing committee if you are a member of a Standing Committee. Secretary Jacob Hively will run point on assisting on getting those scheduled. Reach out to Jacob Hively to volunteer at our headquarters and attend events and activities to support our Democratic Candidates and Causes.
The Political Organizing Standing Committee will Meet on Thursday, August 8th at 4:00pm. Location – the planned KCDEC HQ – 1019 Quarrier St., Charleston. Discussion will be the plans for political activity for this election cycle and planning of a Potential Grand Opening of Headquarters prior to the end of the Month of August.
Poll workers are due to the County Commission by August 23rd. Committee Members must submit their poll workers to the KCDEC Officers on or before August 16th to allow time to process poll workers.
